The day before Battle of the Bands, a parents' night takes place at the school, during which the parents question Dewey's teaching methods. The next day, Rosalie decides to check on Dewey's teaching progress, forcing Dewey to teach the students actual academic material. The group is rejected because the bill is full, but are accepted after Summer tricks the staff into thinking that the kids are terminally ill.
